Poplar Close LU7 3BS

Reported via desktop in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 10:44, Monday 30 September 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412419.

The yellow lines have worn away we were promised these were to be renewed in the spring admittedly no one said which year/decade. How ever now the children are back at school the parents are totally ignoring the no parking zones so two things are required more paint and better correct signage and more visits by traffic wardens . This area is populated by very senior citizens and emergency vehicles frequently are unable to access the properties due to illegal parking. so far this year there have been 6 deaths in the street not directly due to access but just to emphasise the necessity to keep the narrow road free of mega amounts of parents cars parked badly and blocking access for any vehicle wating to access the properties. This is unnecessary as the school has its own parking area within its grounds.
