Overgrown footpath with ivy, which is now grown into the road. It is hazardous and has a high risk of being a trip hazard.

This footpath is definitely owned by Higjways and had been checked by the Shefford Town Council, so please do not pass back as not being your ownership.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
