Raised crossing outside St. Mary's School
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412555.
The design and absence of markings on this crossing invites less considerate parents dropping children off to park on the raised portion. This results in the view of the raised crossing to east bound traffic being blocked. Anybody under 5 ft 5" approaching the crossing is completely invisible to oncoming drivers, there have been several near misses where otherwise drivers would have had a clear view of children approaching the crossing zone.
