Outside 194, 199, 197 high street

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412820.

Drains are blocked on this section of road. Both sides of the road. 194 high street had extensive flooding on 22nd September. Water backed up from the high street. Outside 199 and 197 there is plants growing in the drain it's so blocked

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
    Hello, our cyclical gully cleaning programme is in Cranfield later this financial year and all available gullys will be cleaned then.
