Tall conifer tree next to the church

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 21:26, Tue 8 October 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412920.

It is said this tree is to be removed to replace with a lamp post. For one, this area is very well lit and does not need any more lamp posts, they should be worried about residential areas, especially the alleyway next to the train station that is pretty poorly lit. Two, this tree poses absolutely no problems, hasn’t fallen over, isn’t overly wide, isn’t taking up a lot of room and has been here for years, why remove for a street light in an already highly lit road
