Taylor's Ride from Plantation Road to Oxendon Court

Reported via desktop in the Kerbs category anonymously at 09:38, Wednesday 9 October 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412941.

The gutters and pavements are heavily blocked with needles and debris from trees. The gutters flood when raining and the pavements are unsafe for pedestrians. They have not been cleared for some time despite earlier reports of the problem. The problem has been present since the last report in September.

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
