Corner of French’s avenue

Reported via mobile in the Surface water on Highway category anonymously at 09:51, Thursday 10 October 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412991.

You keep closing the issue with no works being completed or a survey being done or contact, the foot path is falling the wrong way and has been since re tarmaced, a closed case of we will clean the drains is not the remedy, And to keep closing the case for the last 3 years of complaints is a joke, I believe by closing the case it removes it from your description and looked good on the results table, Needs sorting and now, my garage has been flooding for 3 years since the re tarmac with the fall of the path toward my property, this is not as regulations, I am the stage of getting a full report done and serving notice on this full cost and remediation works to be done, Respond rather than closing the case again

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
