B655 Luton Road Barton-le-Clay

Reported via mobile in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 22:46, Fri 11 October 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413069.

As you enter Barton-le-Clay on the B655 Luton Road, you approach a traffic calming measure across the road. Cycling down the hill from Streatley roundabout direction into the village, the traffic calming measure has become very overgrown for cyclists who wish to use the narrow cycle lane on the left hand side, there is also debris and rubbish in the small lane, so all cyclists have to go around the same side as the cars which can be dangerous, cars accelerate out of the village towards the traffic islands but do not expect cyclists to go in the middle of the road. Please can this small cycle lane part be cleared of all rubbish and overhanging foliage.
