Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413125.
This has been reported repeatedly to the council. The occupier of the address is driving across the grass onto a drive that does not have a dropped kerb. This is causing a trail of mud to be left across the pavement. My son (5) skidded on this mud at the start of the year and came off his bike, injuring himself. This has been ongoing for well over a year, probably at least 2. This is dangerous as it is the main route for the village children to go to school. It is causing unnecessary danger to them.

Dropping a letter to the resident today. Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspxAfter inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
Many thanks,
