Opportunity to build a safer school route

Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 12:53, Tuesday 15 October 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413193.

At school drop off and pick up the A 4012 is very overcrowded and dangerous. Cars do not slow down and it is a matter of time until an accident occurs. There is a footpath from Jupiter Drive that could be linked to the path next to Rutherford Crescent and cut the whole corner for parents and children, removing them from the road entirely, just by building 100 mm of path and making an entry through the hedge.
