Tree/Hedge - cant see when reversing/late night when dark

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 13:35, Tue 15 October 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413199.

I find it unacceptable that, while trees along the road have been cut and trimmed at my request, the one outside my house has been neglected. The tree in question isn’t even shaped like a typical tree – it has no trunk, only branches growing out in all directions, and it's becoming a real hazard. When reversing out, visibility is severely compromised, and it’s only getting bigger, making the situation more dangerous.

Could you please explain why one of your colleagues said this tree would be removed, only for me to now be told otherwise? This inconsistency is frustrating, and the current state of the tree is not safe. I ask that you reconsider and at least trim it, if not remove it entirely, to prevent any potential accidents.

I look forward to your response.
