Ditch blocked with rubbish and hedge clippings, water kerb depth floods the road causing cars to swerve into the oncoming traffic, this happens after a heavy rain fall footpath become impassable, just needs cleaning out, this has been reported before but no action has been taken to date.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
