Dickens Lane road sign

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413541.

The only road sign for Dickens Lane is really faded and barely legible. Almost impossible to see at night. Could this possibly be repainted or replaced?

  • Due to budget restraints we are not currently able to action this. Will look to in the future. Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
