Houghton Road, at cross junction between Lake View and Mayer Way
Reported via desktop in the Signals Timing Issue category by James Bell at 18:33, Tue 22 October 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413555.
The lights this evening have finally failed whereby the lights are now stuck Green on Lakeview however this report is to provide additional feedback to inform you that the signal timing of the lights was set wrong ever since the last major road works. The lights are what appear to be set on demo mode or random and do not respond to real time traffic or pedestrians. This error has never been corrected since and constantly disrupts the flow of traffic on the main Houston Road especially during peak times resulting in unnecessary queues of traffic. I’m sure I speak on behalf on the residents and commuters that it would be greatly appreciated if issue can be properly resolved in light (pardon the pun) of the latest failure.
