Pedestrian crossing by the Hermitage

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413616.

The lights take so long to change to allow pedestrians to cross that children going to and from school are risking getting hit by cars to cross the road. Please can the timing be looked at.

  • Thank you for reporting this issue to Central Bedfordshire Council. An engineer has attended site and identified an issue with one of the sensors located in the road surface. We have made some temporary changes on site to minimise delays whilst permanent repairs are organised.
