Land adjacent to number 19 Turners Close LU5 5SY

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 19:39, Thu 24 October 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413674.

Hello, this issue is being batted between housing and Highways. There is no continuity each time a new report is raised, so the cycle just repeats, not really the service I was expecting. Keith Maddox has already advised Housing is not responsible for the land where the trees are growing, the grass along side the trees and vegetation is maintained by Highways. Self seeded trees have been allowed to grow, as grass cutting people don't cut down small trees. Rather than simply use the on line system to bat this around, please can you actually talk to one another and agree who is responsible, if you can't, then fund the work between both departments. Hopefully, I can can a more positive response this time please. Overgrown multiple trees to the side and rear of the number 19. Branches severely overhanging rear garden, and reducing light. Overgrown brushes/vegetation to the side.
