Opposite Eversholt Primary School

Reported via desktop in the Kerbs category anonymously at 12:25, Fri 25 October 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413703.

Almost opposite the end house the shrubs are overgrown and the grass verge is wide. The kerb is very sharp and causing damage to vehicles, if you cant get past because there are so many vehicles parked by the school. If the grass verge could be tarmacked then there would be more room.

  • CBC can request that the vegetation is cut back to allow additional room to park. We can pass this report on to the correct team to decide whether road widening is possible.

  • Unfortunatley, widening is not currently actionable. Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
