Speed Humps and Bollard.

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413763.
New Road Humps have been introduced to Chiltern Road, Dunstable. I am not opposed to speed humps, however, the location of the speed humps being placed either side of the existing Bollard over the roundabout from the row of shops (Chicken and Rib) is. This has not detered drivers from slowing down, in fact drivers feel they can fit the hump in between their wheels and continue to drive at speed. Unfortunately they are placed either side of the Bollard so drivers are clipping the hump and swerving to avoid the bollard. This has recently (Saturday 26th Oct) incurred an accident involving my car which was parked along with the rest of the residents and my car is now in the process of potentially being written off as a result of this. As you can imagine i am not best pleased, as this is an incredible inconvenience, both workwise and financially. I would like to offer a proposal of the bollard to be taken away and having a full length speed hump to be put in instead. As myself and other residents fear for the same thing happening again and would like to avoid a financial burden caused by others.
