Potholes near derelict barn.

One large deep pothole, with other smaller ones that are developing on the same five meter patch of road the deep one is definitely an issue, and people have been driving on the verge to try to avoid it. The smaller ones will rapidly become bigger ones anyway, unless they are patched.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
