Near Saxn Drive Roundabout

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413890.

Please can you trim/cut back bushes/trees at the corner of the Saxon Gate roundabout at the back of the flats in Honeysuckle Close, the housing management team have cut their side up to the boundary fence, the remainder needs to cut on the side the council are responsible, thank you

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx. Management company/residents can undertake this themselves if they wish, under common law/overhanging vegetation.

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
