Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 414221.

The chevron sign is missing from a recent accident. Road is now 40mph but many drivers are far higher. Please replace urgently

  • Due to current budget restraints, i cant action this right now. We will look to in the next quarter.Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
