Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 414245.

Traffic lights on Dunstable road stuck on red. Causing chaos as people stop at the lights then people push around them. Lights from the side roads are still working but they cannot join main road easily as main road traffic is going through the red lights. This is the second time this week that the lights have been not working and it has been several more times in recent weks

  • Thank you for reporting this issue to Central Bedfordshire Council. An engineer has attended site and identified an intermittent issue causing signals to stick. Temporary repairs completed to restore signals into operation. Further investigations to be completed to fully rectify fault. Highways will continue to monitor the operation of the signals.
