Junction of Mentmore Road with Wing Road Linslade

Reported via mobile in the Signals Timing Issue category anonymously at 12:53, Wed 13 November 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 414409.

The lights for traffic seeking to join Wing Road is faulty. Vehicles that are stopping short of the lights are not triggering them to change to green. I have witnessed several instances of a driver behind the front car having to get out and ask them to pull forward to trigger the lights to change. This has been happening for a couple of weeks and this morning I witnessed it again. The road is narrow and some drivers are nervous of pulling forward fearing that an oncoming vehicle might not be able to get through, such as a bus. The problem is causing tailbacks when this happens.
