Outside 98/high Street, Clophill and the nursery

Reported via desktop in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 17:29, Fri 15 November 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 414509.

When the road was resurfaced the contractors have failed to reinstate the pre-existing yellow zig zag lines. This is leading to dangerous and uncontrolled parking at the pinch point outside the school. The contractors left site last week 8th Nov 2024

  • Follow up email from customer - Unfortunately the response is not acceptable. They state they will monitor the defect. It's not a defect, the yellow zig zags have not been replaced after resurfacing. I assume they were put in as a safety measure and I can't see why that doesn't still apply. What are they waiting for? A child to be injured or even worse. May I suggest when they next monitor the situation they come at school time and see the chaos caused by these missing road markings
I have again for reference attached photos of before and after.
