Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 11:51, Thu 28 November 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 415074.
All Trees, Hedges, brambles and planting overgrowing the Road, damaging school busses and other vehicles.
Needs a hedge cutter and the bank pushing back, as the road is very narrow.

Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx. Having driven the route today, I didn't encounter much issue with encroachment onto the road. Higher vehicles may have more encounters with vegetation, however we don't currently have the budget to action anything that isn't urgent/safety critical. After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
Many thanks,
