Light controlled crossing between old Central Beds Office and MV Food & Wine.

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 415126.

Lights are permanently on green for H/St. North traffic and red for pedestrians - pressing the button not causing lights to change, at least since 22 November. Unsafe to cross particularly at night as traffic assumes people unlikely to cross with the green light showing.

  • Thank you for reporting this issue to Central Bedfordshire Council. This is the only report we have received relating to a problem at this location. Our traffic signals maintenance contractor has attended site and checked operation of the crossing.
