Suprise Suprise. It's not getting smaller in fact it's getting bigger - who would have thought! Sooner or later, you will have to fix it so why not fix it now when it will be cheaper. You are legally obliged to fix it so do everyone a favour and DO IT!

We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspxAfter inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair.
