Push button on toucan crossing near pub

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 415384.

Ref my previous report which was then closed, I used the crossing today and the problem still persists.

Pushing the button results in the red ring light around the button. appearing for 1-2 seconds, then it cancels itself. Have to push again to get working

  • Thank you for reporting this issue to Central Bedfordshire Council. An engineer has attended site and identified a fault which has now been rectified. As discussed by telephone we have now disabled the sensors that detect if the button has been pressed and pedestrian walks away.
