Junction Church Street/Church Avenue Ampthill

Reported via desktop in the Road markings and lining category by Brian Prickett at 14:39, Mon 9 December 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 415530.

When Church Avenue was resurfaced the double yellow lines on the entrance were covered by the tarmac and since cars and vans have been parked on the previous restricted area and parking into Church Street making it dangerous particularly when turning left into Church Avenue. Could you please reinstate the double yellow lines.

  • This is still a considerable problem with vehicles parking close to the junction with Church Street causing problems for both drivers and pedestrians particularly persons with prams. Can you say when the double yellow lines will be reinstated please.
