Barton Hill Road - A6 Streatley Rbt to Straight section

Reported via desktop in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 10:45, Thu 12 December 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 415713.

Many pot holes caused by edge fretting along this section. They are abrupt and have vertical edges, and are likely to damage tyres and wheels if struck. When full of water it is not possible to determine and when meeting oncoming vehicles due to the single track nature of the road unavoidable. This has been reported many times and not attended to. The cost of a single tyre/alloy will far outweigh the cost of a pothole repair.
