6 pot holes were previously reported in the summer, but there is in excess of a dozen potholes along this stretch now. It is almost impassable in a smaller lower wheelbase vehicle, and we alone have required 3 new tyres and wheel balance recalibration in the last 6 months. It is not acceptable to leave a road in this condition and increasingly the taxi company and delivery drivers are refusing to come along this stretch….

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
