Dangerous crossing

Reported via mobile in the Kerbs category anonymously at 17:59, Wed 18 December 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 415950.

Pedestrians crossing Totternhoe Road from The Rye have no place to cross. The road is very badly designed and dangerous for pedestrians. There are a young residents on The Rye, and it's not safe for them to walk to the village / schools etc due to the lack of a safe crossing place. This urgently needs to be reviewed, as a minimum a dropped kerb should be installed on both sides of Totternhoe Road to allow pushchair etc to cross.
