A507 Ampthill bypass 150m north of the station Road roundabout.

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 416636.

The road drains are all blocked as you drive south towards the station road roundabout. It has been bad for months now but over the last month water is now coming back out the drains as it flows downhill and running down to the roundabout. Over the weekend due to the freezing conditions it was sheet ice approaching the roundabout from the north side. All the drains need deep clear out as a matter of urgency before there is a bad accident.

    We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).
