14 and 12 Church Avenue

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 15:20, Wednesday 8 January 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 416735.

There are three lime trees that need to be maintained / cut back. In the high winds a number of dead branches fell and one dented my car. They haven’t been cut back for a number of years. Our understanding is that they are the council responsibility to maintain

  • Hello, sorry for the delay. Central Beds Council only maintain up to the edge of the footpath, we have not adopted any of the verge/gardens where the trees are. They are also all protected - any work will need to be applied for by the owner and approved by Central Beds Council's planning team.

State changed to: not the council's responsibility
