Pathway between Saunders piece and wingate drive

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 416879.

The drain is blocked again and flooding. This is now freezing over with the cold weather, becoming incredibly dangerous and slippery with no way around it. This is a main pathway into the centre of town which is used by many school children and elderly people and has already caused injuries to those who have had to walk over it.

    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
