‘Alternative means of access’ requires wheelchair users to ride/walk full length of Clarke’s way IN THE ROAD, then travel ON THE MAIN road to roundabout before being able to re-join footpath.
Access to ‘diversion’ at entrance to clarkes way if travelling full length of Clarkes way in road not possible as road diversion signs prevent wheelchairs accessing footpath drop curb.
Alleyway into whitehouse close is not passable by wheelchairs due to condition of footpath preventing users from passing on pavement. Numerous cases raised previously and closed by CBC without action, complaints raised and closed without action.
This dictatorship council need to stop the discriminatory actions and work with the people and 1. Provide notice of closure in advance. 2. Make suitable alternative access available to all footpath users.
