At the entrance to the footpath running from Norfolk Road to the Manshead / St Mary's Schools campus

Reported via desktop in the Signs category anonymously at 09:18, Wednesday 15 January 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 417045.

One bollard (the red one on the right in the picture), and a wooden post which formed part of a fence, are both now missing. This gap is now wide enough for a car to fit through - we know this because a car drove through it and along the footpath yesterday! It drove around a third of the way along the track before reversing back out. This is a busy footpath used by school children and walkers and so please could this be fixed as a matter of urgency. Thank you.
