I live at 43 Reynold Closed Bigglewades SG18 0QL and outside of house left side there is a huge tree that i am scared of that migth fall down to my house because the strong wing and very bad weather. I asking if the council could cut the tree please . Our room is next to the tree so if that will fall me and children's migth be in serious injure. I am single mother of 2 girls . Could please the council help me to this issue about the tree.

It show in the picture how close the tree to my house that whenever strong wind or typhoon or strom will come it might fall down and it be a damage to my house or a serious injure to me or my 2 daughters as our bedroom is close to that tree. Please kind help me to this matter . Could i please ask council to cut the tree for my family safety . Thank you so much

Hello. We have now visited the tree. Extreme weather events are not something we can use as a basis for future management unless there's an identifiable weakness within the tree. We inspected and believe it is in good health and could not identify any sort of disease or defect that would cause the tree to decline or become a danger. While we can understand the concern given the trees size and proximity to property, at current we won't be undertaking any work as we don't believe there to be sufficient risk to warrant it. Thanks for reporting and please report back if the situation changes.
