Two trees in front of 24 Howard Close. MK453QH
Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 11:48, Tuesday 4 February 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 418260.
These two trees have become too large for the space. They have not been pruned for a number of years and the branches are almost touching 24 and 26 Howard close. PLEASE can this be done as a matter of urgency. Either pruned or removed. Thank you

Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP). We cannot facilitate these works this side of bird nesting season. The earliest we'd be likely to complete pruning works here will be after bird nesting this year. We won't be removing the trees, but pruning them away from the properties. We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
Many thanks,
