Between Tempsford Road and Station Road junctions along St Neots Raod heading southbound

Reported via Android in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 07:42, Saturday 8 February 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 418515.

This entire road heading southbound is riddled with large, deep potholes which are getting worse by the day. They are so significant it is causing drivers to swerve across the road to avoid them. They are also deep enough to cause considerable jarring to steering and damage to vehicles. They are also very hard to see at night due to the road not being lit. All these holes need urgent repair.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    Many thanks,
