The pavements are flooded here every time it rains and covered with mud throughout winter. This has been going on for several years now and still nothing has been done about it. It makes it impassable and you have to walk in the road with a pram which isn’t safe. The problem extends from the point where this has been reported, heading East towards the new Linmere estate. If someone comes out and walks this route they would see the extent of the issue and where people have been forced to create a new path across the wet, muddy, and slippy slope. The pavement/drainage need re-doing and/or a new path needs to be created. This needs

    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
