Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 418803.

Concerned the lights as you come up high street north to turn in to west street , you go past the lights as they are green then whilst waiting in the middle to turn right no lights are visible so you are stuck in the middle not knowing if the lights have changed and you’re safe to go .

  • Thank you for contacting Central Bedfordshire Council. Vehicles entering the junction and positioning themselves to turn right have to give way to oncomming traffic. Once the vehicle has entered the junction passing the signals they are permitted to turn right to clear the junction when the signals have turned red. Highway code rule 176
