At the top of Kings Road (3 pot holes) opposite to field on right cannot be missed

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 419220.

The potholes have been there 3/ 4 months at least, probably 6 months ,but are getting bigger by the day! There are alot of elderly people up Kings Road with smaller cars that are finding it hard to avoid them! Worrying about damage to cars!

    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections and look to re-assesss in the new financial year.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).
