Leaving Stanford Village just past the National Speed Limit Signs

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 419300.

Top layer of road surface has gone. It is in two patches across where car tyres normally run. This issue has been here for at least 2 years if not longer as I've only been using this route for two years and always been there.

    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
