Churchill way shefford
Reported via mobile in the Road Surface category anonymously at 08:59, Saturday 22 February 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 419340.
There are far too many pot hole problems in this road damaging cars causing bodily injury when will you do something about these trechorous conditions my neck has been giving me problems since going down one of these craters. Enough is enough I think it’s disgraceful that as a governing body you do nothing to help the local residents this is affecting people’s house structures due to thee vibrations but you don’t seem to care, saying these are not dangerous enough, have you been to Churchill way recently. This needs to be sorted out as an urgent matter

This customer who reported this with the potholes has received a letter saying not CBC owned and is a prvate owned road, GIS Maps for Churchill Way Shefford are showing as CBC adopted, can we check this again as the customer has asked for a further opinion, GIS Maps definitely shows blue lines adopted CBC, she said there is a pool nearby as well as lots of children in the area, there are lods of potholes in the area that have got progressively worse. Customer is asking for updates on when these repairs are going to be done, lots in the neighbourhood have had vehicles damaged and this customer had a fall and hurt herself.

Churchill Way has no potholes on it. The section of road with potholes is actually Old Bridge Way, which is not CBC owned.
