The whole street

Reported via desktop in the Kerbs category anonymously at 14:58, Monday 24 February 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 419497.

The fences that are there to resist cars from parking on the grass are broken. Metal plates hanging out, rotting nails hanging out and when trying to get into your car (if you manage to) they can rip your clothes. The fences do not give a sufficient amount of room to exit your car Kurt side nor is it safe as the grass edge is on a tilt meaning when it is wet, you slip. There also isn’t enough gaps in the fence to give anyone with disabilities or children or anyone who requires extra room, the space to get out. The whole design is dangerous and quality of the fences is dangerous and it doesn’t work. With a disabled child, I require space to get out.. even if I turn my car around and I struggle to get out between my car and the fence, I am then taking my disabled child, who is attached to medical equipment and therefore takes slightly longer, out of the car into the road! Dangerous.
