Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 419725.

The gully outside number 41 upper shelton Road Marston Moretaine is not working every time we have heavy rain it hammers down the drive off number 41 next-door then floods our garden number 43 aswell as number 41,45,. Conways have just been out to suck the gully but didn't jet it to see why it wasn't working please can you contact me ASAP kind regards Mrs S.M.Croucher

  • Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. We plan to inspect the site during the next instance of significant rainfall (that takes place during working hours) and decide on the best course of action.

    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
