    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.

  • Another customer has called as this is serious, this is a really busy road and it floods a house on this road, he has a cellar that gets flooded, he has 2 small children, he cannot walk across this as it floods the driveway so this really needs to be addressed. This customer is not happy about this, it is affecting hundreds of people in this area and also elderly live here the whole path is blocked, it is a deep puddle and not just small, please re-inspect and address. The customer disputes if you have been out as he said he has aring doorbell and he checks this and does not see anybody, he has a camera on his house as well.

    We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).
