Stretch from exit from A1 up to Tempsford Interchange
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 419911.
There are a number of potholes, some of which are very deep and wide, in both lanes of this road. There are regular near misses between oncoming traffic at speed as drivers swerve to avoid potholes. Some of these holes are now very deep and will, if hit, cause significant damage to cars, and motorbikes with a risk of harm or fatality to drivers and passengers. I would think the risk of civil litigation is significant in relation to this road.
I note that you have planned works with no timescale for those works to occur. I do hope this work willl be an effective and long term resurface, rather than the usual ineffective short term fixes that appear to wash away with the rain, however in the meantime, I and other users of this road, would very much appreciate some immediate repairs be made for our safety please.

We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work.
