A600 between Sandy lane and B658 Roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category by Stephen Offord at 14:04, Monday 3 March 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 419968.

The verge along the footpath between the A600, Sandy lane junction and the B658 (Bedford Road) roundabout has become unusable. In places, the path width is less than 25cm. This has become unpassable for anyone with limited mobility, push-chairs. On-foot pedestrian use is not advised due to the width of the path and the speed of the road. This is the only permanent pedestrian access route for the whole of Chicksands Camp to gain access to Shefford.

This report is now closed to updates from the public. You can make a new report in the same location.
